The Vision
My role for this effervescent book was that of an illustrator. The vision was to make each chapter of the book appealing to the reader through shocking, emotional, joyful or even erotic visuals. Telling a different layer of the story of the Queer community of India in the vivid set of people showcased.
Why have I included this in my portfolio?
For the first time, I had a chance to tell someone else's story with a team of people who were enthusiastic to acknowledge, address and education the reader about Queer Indians. Hidden away in oppression, hidden away in traditional art and literature, and hidden away even in modern day - this book makes everyone who fits into the spectrum of sexuality be seen with every word and artwork.
