Allen Digital is the leading digital platform for India's most intensive coaching institute - Allen Institute. The platform serves adolescent students nationwide who are dedicated to cracking highly competitive entrance exams (medicine/engineering) to become future pioneers and innovators. These students manage an extreme study load, and Allen Digital offers notes, quizzes, and flashcards to assist.
As a Design Intern At Allen Digital I got a chance to work on various solutions that served some of the top students of India.

Scorebooster
To make an gamified, appealing feature for the crème de la crème of student toppers of the Allen Institute to improve their score for their competitive exams.
For competitive exam students in India, the margin of improvement is incredibly small: growth of only one or two marks over two months is a significant achievement. Burnout is quite common and so to combat the slow progress, the feature required ornate and highly rewarding success screens to celebrate even the smallest achievements.
This project taught me that for high-stakes, low-return EdTech scenarios, design must shoulder the emotional weight of motivation. We had to create design systems that didn't just display information, but actively managed student psychology to prevent burnout.
Additionally, this project provided valuable experience as I primarily used Figma, significantly advancing my proficiency with the platform.

Results
Make the results pages of mock exams look supportive and encouraging, regardless of the score. The goal was to use illustrations and visual hierarchy to create a joyful page that pushed students to keep building their academics up.
Building your score,
one block at a time!
I developed an illustrative narrative of building basics up, block by block. Academic progress was compared to building blocks of various shapes, sizes, and descents. The storytelling adapted based on the user's score:
This system was successfully translated across both mobile and web interfaces.

App Illustrations
Using the visual library, I compositioned and put forth illustrations for the website. These would appear in the promotional section of the website or flashcard section. Although some of them are inactive, my favorite part is always brainstorming new ideas like below.
